TVET Graduation Ceremony Empowers 78 Youth and Women in Togdheer Region
Through the BREACH Project supported by the European Union, Candlelight has successfully empowered 78 participants—primarily women and youth from disadvantaged urban and peri-urban communities in the Togdheer Region.
A graduation ceremony was held at Daalo Hotel in Burao to celebrate the achievements of trainees who completed vocational training in:
- Tailoring
- Plumbing & Pipe Fitting
- Electrical Installation
To support their transition into the workforce, each graduate received a start-up toolkit, enabling them to launch their own businesses and build sustainable livelihoods.
This initiative reflects Candlelight’s commitment to skills development, economic empowerment, and community resilience.
